Authentic Healing Counseling and Consultation

Join us for a peer run group for psychotherapists to speak Spanish, staff cases, and talk about culturally and linguistically appropriate services for our Latinx and Spanish speaking community. Group will be lead by Darlene Brace LCSW LAC ADS. She is an Bilingual Approved Clinical Supervisor and Adjunct Profession of the Graduate School of Social Work through University of Denver.

Peer consultation groups provide a place for therapists to meet informally with peers and colleages to discuss clinical and practical issues in a supportive confidential setting. This professional activity will provide support and exchange of information about practice and therapy.

Group will be provided the first Friday of every month from 3pm-4pm via Zoom.

Therapists must be state licensed and willing to provide proof of licensure.

Participants will need to have advanced or fluent level of Spanish language and culture skills.

Group is free to participants.

Considerations:

Confidentiality: Therapists may not disclose confidential information that could lead to the identification of a client without clients prior consent. Therapist may disclose information only to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of consultation.
This is not a substitute for all forms of professional support a practitioner may need. Participants must recognize when an issue raised in group may require further consultation/supervision with an outside expert.
Participants are welcome to attend on a regular basis or as needed.
Therapists will be encouraged to RSVP each month for the group they will attend.
